Learn the foundations of knitting with a small group of other eager learners while being guided by local expert knitter Helen Tinsley, in the beautiful atmosphere of Creators Nest.
Not only will your learn the foundations of knitting you’ll also be creating a pair of hand warmers using Australian Merino Yarn and a lovely pair of bamboo needles while Helen walks you through the how’s and why’s on knitting with confidence, knowing the foundations is key to any successful venture, including knitting.
Through out this workshop you’ll learn why you use particular needles, ply of yarn, how to master the basic stitches and finish your project off like a professional.
If you’ve seen Helen’s work in store you know you’ll be in great hands, as Helen is a highly accomplished professional knitter who creates the most exquisite work with yarn.
